Chesterton Parent Group runs activities for children under 5 and their parents/carers in Chesterton, Cambridge, UK.
We run weekly sessions of Little Music Makers (term time only), and Soft Play.
Other things we are involved in:
- Running the children's play area at community events like the Chesterton Festival
- Organizing outings for families to places like Shepreth Wildlife Park
- Putting on discos, picnics and other one off events
We are funded entirely through grants and donations, fueled by the enthusiasm and hard graft of volunteers, and supported by local organizations, churches and businesses.
Get in touch if you would like to get involved with anything we do. The core group meets quarterly, everyone is welcome to attend, and it's a great way to get "stuck in" to the community and meet new people.
